Courage Safety Systems, LLC., has been very successful in construction & the
residential home building industry and quickly took the position as the premier
provider of expert safety services and compliance advice to home builders in
the west. In addition to providing environmental health and safety services
to public companies such as Shell Oil, Centex Homes, Standard
Pacific Homes, Toll
Brothers, U.S./Lennar, Pulte Homes, The Irvine Company, D.R. Horton, Courage
is providing safety services to over 600 employment locations every month.
Since AB 1127 was introduced into California law, the multi-employer
aspects of safety
regulations, on a typical high-hazard construction job site, has become quite
challenging. Mike has conducted seminars and workshops to many builders on
this subject for the Building Industry Association in Southern
California and more
recently for the California Building Industry Foundation. Courage has also
been selected by The National Association of Home Builders
(NAHB), in conjunction
with Federal OSHA, to provide Safety Training to its building industry members
in the western United States. Mike also gives OSHA 10 hour and 30 hour safety
training programs for the construction industry. More recently, Courage has
been selected to serve on the joint CBIA/ CalOSHA task force
and is on the working
committee helping to update Cal/OSHA regulations and standards for the home
building industry in the State of California.
Under Mike's leadership, Courage Safety Systems has been enjoying
strong growth, has increased its revenues by over 30% every
year since 1995 thru’ 2004,
and now provides service to over one hundred & forty five builder clients.
